Dan Roth leads a comprehensive criminal defense practice in the Bay Area. He represents clients accused of a wide range of offenses in California’s state and federal courts. Dan’s practice also represents students in Title IX disciplinary proceedings at public and private universities.
Before founding the Law Office of Dan Roth in 2012, Dan worked as an associate with Arguedas, Cassman & Headley. His criminal defense practice is also shaped by his experience as a litigator and advisor with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Federal Pro Bono Project and Eviction Defense Collaborative as well as Ohio’s Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Governor.
For the past five years, Super Lawyers Magazine has rated Dan a “Rising Star” amongst Northern California criminal defense lawyers.
